Senders Can Get Their Messages to the Right Audiences

Without having to build or buy a list of contact addresses, senders using Yodel are able to select a local area to target for their message. Audiences can be as small as a few houses or as large as a county, parish, or political district. Senders can use recipient filters such as residential and business addresses.

Best of all, your message can be tailored to the preferences of the receiver. If they prefer email or SMS text, then we'll send your message per their individual settings so they receive it how they want to. Also, if the user has blocked messages from you, then that user will never be counted as a paid send for you again, saving you money.

Receivers Gain Control They Don't Normally Have

Traditional methods for postal mail, email, and SMS text messaging from groups are treated as one-way communication and the receiver has few reliable ways to react and respond. For messages sent through Yodel, we give receivers those options!

Change how you receive local messages, choosing between postcards, email, and SMS text. You can now anonymously react to their message (like or dislike), or even type up a response that gets sent to them. If you don't like a sender, you can block them.

A Unique Way of Sending Messages

Many direct mail or other local marketing options require a large investment. You may have to build or buy your list, which may be specific to one communication channel. Yodel's method allows you to simply select a local geographic area as your audience by drawing on a map. It will default to sending a postcard to known addresses within that area, including units such as apartments and suites. If users in that area have already connected their addresses, or perhaps are watching an overlapping area, then we'll choose the best sending option for that user based on their preferences. All methods of sending are coordinated to get as closely aligned to your target date as possible. Compared to other marketing options, this gives everyone involved a better experience!
