Why Should I Create a Free Yodel Account?

It's Free & Easy to Set Up

Go ahead and give it a try! You can register an account for free with Yodel. This will let you quickly set up your primary address (most people use their home address) and see any recent messages sent to your local community through Yodel.

NOTE: You should set your account up with your real name for the best experience. If you wish to later send messages through Yodel and not use your real name, you can then create a sending group to use a company or organization name.

Yodel is still in limited beta release so it is likely that there won't be many, if any, messages for most people right now. We'll be rolling it out to more senders as quickly as we can.

Control How You Receive Messages

Your first message received through Yodel may have come in the postal mail as a postcard. But if you prefer to receive messages in email or SMS text, you can set up different methods for receiving! Or you can block senders if you don't want to receive messages from a specific sender in the future.

Respond to Senders

Yodel offers the unique ability to easily respond to postal mail senders. If the postcard came through Yodel, then you can anonymously react to the message with a like or dislike, or you can send a response message to the sender that is anonymous unless you choose to include personally identifiable information in your message.

Create Multiple Locations & Areas to Watch

After you have an account, you can also add more locations and areas for free! Add your work, school, church, routes you take frequently, vacation homes, or addresses of relatives that you assist or need to keep an eye on.

Experiment With Tools for Senders

While logged in, you can also experiment with the tools available for senders. Play around with the message creation features, select audiences, and see approximate costs to send a message to your audiences.
