Responding to a Sender
Finally, a quick and easy way to respond to senders!
If you consider the messages you typically receive in your mailbox, you'll notice that in most cases it is not easy to reply. Sure, you could look the sender up online, find a contact method, their social media accounts, or a mailing address...but in general the whole process is set up to discourage responses from the recipient.
Yodel is different.
For messages received through Yodel, as long as you have a Yodel account, you can react or reply to a message whether it was received as a postcard in the mail, an email, or an SMS text (per your notification preferences). Simply find the message in your receiving list and choose your reaction or reply to the sender.
Reacting to Messages
Reactions have become the simplest form of response on social media and other communication channels with a simple "like", "dislike", or any number of emoji reactions.
Yet, when it comes to your mailbox, or even your email inbox, this simple form of reaction is not commonly available.
Reactions are anonymous, but can help a sender know if they are sending messages that people like or not.
Replying to a Sender
Sometimes you want to say more... Yodel also allows you to reply to the sender. Here you can type a short comment to send back to them. By default a reply is anonymous, but since you can type whatever you like in your reply, it is possible to include your name or contact information if you choose to do so.
Whether or not your reply is received and acted upon will be dependent on the sender and how they choose to manage replies.
Blocking Senders
Yodel also provides the ability to block senders if you wish to stop receiving messages from them. This can keep you from having to see messages you don't care for, and it can help the sender by reducing the size of their message sends.
