Why Did I Receive a Message Through Yodel?
If you are new to Yodel, you most likely received your first message via postal mail.
Senders who use Yodel can select a local area or community and if the owner of an address has not created an account, the system will default to mailing a postcard.
You've received a message because your address has been recognized as part of the audience or locality that the sender selected.
What to Do
You have several options on what you can do next:
You can do NOTHING!
As easy as that... If you are OK with receiving periodic messages about your local area in your mailbox, by doing nothing, you'll continue to receive similar messages via postcard.Modify How You Receive Messages
If you'd rather receive messages through email or SMS text, you can create an account and modify your preferences.Respond to the Sender
Most messages you receive in your mailbox don't have an easy way to reply or react to the sender. Yodel is different. If you create an account, you can react or reply to the sender. Give their message a "like" or "dislike", or type up a reply to the sender.Block a Sender
Think of it like a "do not call" or "do not mail" list. After you create an account, you can block any senders who use Yodel, and you'll no longer receive messages from them. You'll stop receiving messages you don't like, and it helps them too.
