My Yodel Quick Code Didn't Work

A Yodel Quick Code is a shortcut to creating a receiving location to add to your account. You'll find a Quick Code on a postal mailing (postcard) that was sent to your street address.

The Quick Code is an eight-character, alphanumeric code. This can be entered on the Yodel homepage or while reviewing your receiving locations and trying to add a new location.

Entering the Quick Code

Online, the Quick Code entry form appears as eight separate input boxes divided in half by a dash. Regardless of where you tap/click or tab into these input boxes, the site should ensure that it focuses on the first empty box so you can quickly start entering the code.

As you key in a character, the focus should move to the next box. If you made an error, you can click/tap back to a previously entered box and modify it, once corrected, it will jump you to the next incomplete box or to the "claim" button if all are filled in.

You can also use the keyboard to tab into the input box area, or if you have it partially entered already shift+tab will focus the boxes in reverse order.

Unable to Enter Quick Code

If you are unable to fill in the boxes, there may be an issue with the browser or related code. In these cases, you may consider that use of the Quick Code is optional, and you can still use the add receiving location page to enter your street address and claim the location.

Invalid or Incorrect Quick Code

If Yodel is reporting an error after you enter a Quick Code, you should double-check to make sure it was entered correctly. The error message itself may give you a clue about what the issue is.
