Why is My Sending Area Address Count Marked Pending?

Your sending location areas are polygons drawn on a map for which you intend to send future messages to addresses within the area's shape. This will initial include all street addresses and units (apartments or suites) that you can later user recipient filters per message send.

In order to know the cost of sending messages to an area, there needs to be an accurate address count for how many mailing addresses are within the area.

Because Yodel is still in beta mode and only available in limited states, the Yodel team is reviewing all newly created sending areas before verifying the address count. This is a manual review, so after you create a new area, the address count will be flagged as "pending" until Yodel has reviewed.

If the area is large or may contain a large number of mailing addresses, the Yodel team may reach out to confirm that the area is planned to be used for an upcoming mailing. We understand this is not as convenient as it could be, and we apologize for this extra step. As we ramp up Yodel's systems and processes, we will be able to streamline this in the future. During our beta roll-out, this is an attempt to reduce costs while we manage our initial growth.

Still Have Questions?
